The Davis Projects for Peace Program supports young people to create and test their own ideas for building peace. Dartmouth students are invited to design grassroots projects that they implement in the summer. The program has enabled Dartmouth students, individually and in teams, to undertake projects aimed at the promotion of peace around the world.
The Davis Projects for Peace Program was made possible by Kathryn Wasserman Davis, an accomplished internationalist and philanthropist. Upon the occasion of her 100th birthday in 2007, Mrs. Davis celebrated by committing one million dollars for 100 projects for peace. Because of the many achievements of students that summer, Mrs. Davis and her family have continued to support the Program.

PDFs of past successful proposals will be provided to interested applicants.
To apply, please submit a complete application, including a written project proposal (maximum 2 pages) and one page budget by the deadline. The most promising projects (a primary and an alternate) will then be forwarded to the Davis Foundation for consideration.
